Create lines and polylines from raster images, and convert raster files into vector drawings. Image transformation functionality Show and analyze geo images in Civil 3D civil engineering software and the AutoCAD Map 3D toolset. The Autodesk® Architectural Desktop 2006 Object Enabler is a freeware application that allows object data created in Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006 to be accessed outside the Autodesk Architectural Desktop environment.

Using the AutoCAD Raster Design Object Enabler The AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 Object Enabler is a freeware application that you can use to access AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 drawing files. This release allows object data created in AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 to be accessed outside the AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 environment.

For example, if half of your AutoCAD seats are AutoCAD 2011, and the other half are AutoCAD Raster Design 2011, the people using plain AutoCAD 2011 can install the AutoCAD Raster Design Object Enabler. Then when they open drawings that were created with AutoCAD Raster Design, they will be able to view, plot, and do basic image management tasks with the images.

Without the AutoCAD Raster Design Object Enabler installed, standard AutoCAD image types created in Raster Design (TIFF, JFIF-JPEG, GIF, etc.) can be readily used in drawings by other AutoCAD 2011–based applications. The Object Enabler is required to display Raster Design custom images, as listed in the topic. Without the AutoCAD Raster Design Object Enabler installed, another application displays only the frames of these custom images, and then only if proxy graphics are enabled. Installing the AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 Object Enabler on any AutoCAD 2011 product provides support of the AutoCAD Erase, Move, Copy, Scale, Rotate, and Draw Order commands on custom images, as well as grip editing.

Accessing and Installing the AutoCAD Raster Design Object Enabler The AutoCAD Raster Design Object Enabler is available on your AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 product media as well as from the Autodesk website. See the instructions below for installing the Object Enabler from the product media.

In addition, you can also download the most current version from the Autodesk web site at. Installing the AutoCAD Raster Design Object Enabler. Insert the AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 product media into your computer's media drive. In the Installation wizard, click Install Tools and Utilities. On the Select the Products to Install page, select AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 Object Enabler and follow the on-screen instructions. If prompted, restart your computer.

The Use Targets On the Same Side As the Subassembly check box was added to the Set Width Or Offset Target dialog box in the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018.1 Update. When this check box is selected, the subassembly will use a target that matches the Side parameter specified for the subassembly (if a target on the same side is specified).

For example, if the Side parameter of a subassembly is Right, then a target on the right side of the baseline is used. If multiple targets are on the same side, then the Selection Choice If Multiple Targets Are Found option is applied. Note: When this check box is selected, a target on the other side will not be used unless there are no targets specified on the same side. In that case, the first target in the Selected Entities to Target list will be used. When this check box is cleared, the subassembly can use a specified target on either side. If multiple targets are specified, then the Selection Choice If Multiple Targets Are Found option is applied and will use the nearest or farthest target on either side.

Note: When the Selection Choice If Multiple Targets Are Found option is applied, the distance between the baseline and the target is calculated as a positive value, regardless of the side of the target.
